South-central District Vice Commandant Ed Luisa passed this date at approximately 1245. Arrangements have not been made at this time. Arrangements are noted later in this announcement.
Remember Ed and his family in your thoughts and prayers this day.

Condolence cards may be mailed to Ed’s wife at the following address:
Irene Luisa
3513 Honeysuckle Drive
Weddington, NC 28104
Commandant Carter, of the Charlotte #750 Detachment, will also be giving the family copies of the e-mails that he’s received from the various Detachments.
With the recent passing of DoNC Officer, DVC Ed Luisa, it has been suggested that Marines wanting to do something memorable in his name, can make monetary donations to the Marine Corps Disaster Relief Unit 1 organization that Ed was heavily involved in and very much loved to be a part of.
The website for this organization is http://www.mcdru1.org. On the homepage, you will find a button labeled donations. There you can e-mail one of the contacts and set up making a donation to the D.R.U. in Ed’s name.
