      <title>Capital City Young Marines Graduate 24 Recruits</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;At it’s graduation ceremonies held Monday, 15 June, 24 recruits were elevated to Young Marine status, following 13 weeks of recruit training. Jim Haslam was the speaker and Tar Heel Det. Cmdt. John Staley was guest of honor. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Kim Gibbons,  a member of the Tar Heel Detachment, is the Commanding Officer of the unit. Supporting the unit as paymaster, is David Crouch, also a member.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Nathanial Green Young Marines Graduation</title>

Proud parents looked on as he handed the awards to the Young Marines as the Commander presented them. Winsett’s speech was on the meaning and value of commendations, why they are presented based on achievement and the joint appreciation of ones peers when they are awarded. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;After the ceremony parents and other attendees enjoyed a beautiful graduation cake and refreshments while they talked about future meetings and projects of the General Nathaniel Green Young Marines.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;For more information on General Nathaniel Green Young Marines go to &lt;a href="http://www.gngym.org"&gt;http://www.gngym.org&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
